I Laughed So Hard Tears Ran Down My Leg

Get Back to Living Your Life Without Being Afraid to Laugh or Sneeze!

Ladies, if you are reading this in public, I want you to look up from your screen and pick out three random women. Chances 1 in 3 women have leaky bladders. Take back your life with Depend Silhouette Active Fit Briefs!are, one of those women – maybe even you – is afraid to laugh or sneeze or cough. Why? Because she knows that if she does, there’s a good chance she’ll leak. She may also hate long car rides when she knows there’s not a bathroom around that she can quickly duck into the moment she feels it happening.

Disclosure: We participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Depend. We received product samples to facilitate our review and a promotional item to thank us for our participation. As always, all opinions are ours.

When we’re little girls, growing into women, we hear all the wonderful things about being an adult. The joy of pregnancy and being a mom. Watching your kids play sports and achieve their dreams and aspirations, hitting 40 and feeling fabulous. But during that time, I don’t think one person ever told me the side effects of having babies and getting older would be that my bladder would end up with a mind of its own.

I have a little sign in my kitchen that a friend gave me that says “I laughed so hard tears ran down my leg” and it’s such a true and funny testimony to life after having babies and being in my 40’s.

Yep… you can count me as one of those three women who braces herself before she sneezes or laughs. Sometimes I leak… sometimes I don’t but man can it be frustrating and I have a feeling it’s going to get worse, not better. It’s not so bad when I’m home and can change if I need to, but when I’m out trying to enjoy life with my family and friends, it’s the last thing I want to worry about. And while I may be in my 40’s, I am not ready to shop the incontinence aisle as we know it.

Don't be afraid to laugh any more with Depend's new line of underwear!Because there are so many women who were blessed with this added bodily feature, Depends is introducing Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs, a new moderate-absorbency brief featuring a thin design for complete comfort and the trusted protection of the Depend brand. These are not your grandma’s line of under protection.. these actually feel and fit like your normal underwear with the added bonus that you can sneeze or laugh and if it’s one of those times when you leak a little… oh well! Depend has you covered!! They come in two colors right now – nude and black and unless you say something to someone, I guarantee you that the only person that will know you’re wearing them is you. Some women may leak often enough that they will want to make these their everyday under garment and some will use them when they know their leak risk is higher. And with cold and cough season right around the corner, this could be your extra defense from feeling tied to the house for fear of a coughing fit!
