Ten to Twenty Talk Radio – Premiere Show: Consent Based Sex Education with Dr. Wes Crenshaw
Ten to Twenty Talk Radio
Welcome to our premiere episode of Ten to Twenty Talk Radio!! After months of contemplating, we decided that it was only logical to add a podcast to the site for you to connect with other parents and experts who live and work with today’s teens and tweens. While there are plenty of parenting podcasts, we felt there weren’t many that focused solely on parenting kids in the 10 – 20 age range and so TTTTR (Ten to Twenty Talk Radio) was born!
What will we cover? The same things we cover on the site – school, attitudes, dating, relationships, college prep, home life as well as just the random things that happen in life. We’ll also focus on US as parents.. our lives are starting to shift and suddenly, we’re staring down the barrel of empty-nests! Every Tuesday we’ll have a new episode so be sure to subscribe to our podcast channel and spread the word! If you know of someone who’d be a good guest or if there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, leave a comment or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
This Week’s Show
Our first guest is a frequent contributor to the site, Dr. Wes Crenshaw. Dr. Wes has launched a KickStarter campaign to help fund his latest book, Consent Based Sex Education: Parenting in an Internet Age.
Dr. Wes and Katie Guyot want to catch parents up with a new perspective. They’ve teamed up to write Consent-Based Sex Education: Parenting Teens in an Internet Age. It builds on Dr. Wes’s years of training and experience as a psychologist and Katie’s experience as a teen to provide a cutting-edge guide to real-world adolescent sexuality.
Listen as Kristen and Dr. Wes discuss how sex education and our teen’s sexuality as a whole has changed over the past 20 years. And make sure you contribute to his KickStarter campaign!
